The quartz immersion probe is an immersion probe where all parts in contact with the solution are made of quartz by melting the quartz of the probe barrel and the quartz of the measurement head. It exhibits stable properties against strong acids and strong alkalis. Additionally, it has a high transmittance in the deep ultraviolet to near-infrared range (190 to 2300 nm) and can be designed to withstand temperatures as low as -180°C for low-temperature solution measurements.
